A plethora of T20 Cricket offered by franchise tourneys and bi-lateral series all of a sudden looks like a palette cleanser before the feast. The feast, T20 World Cup is around the corner. There is no other best place to play in October than the Cricket loving nation 🇦🇺 Australia.

Sport has replaced wars from the past. The T20 cricket can be compared to the epics from India. The T20 cricket has combination of physical, emotional, drama and tricks that is comparable to the epics. Just remembered - Ponniyin Selvan, the pan India period movie is making noise among the fans positively.

The physical power of batters, the specialist cavalry riding bat as horses with spread up chest, they step out and never look back. The reverse sweep and fine leg scoop are the comedy acts. The bowlers have Brahmastra up their sleeve with their slow and knuckle balls. The fielders giving their life in their dive and sliding stops. The Sakuni in DRS can change the game. The lines of crease are there to be followed. A careless breach of line can lead to back stabbing. Once back stabbed, they can’t complain opponent as coward (like Sivaji Ganesan movies) as it is all in rules from 1st of October. The Raja thanthiram (trick) have toppled Kingdom on several occasions and the famous one when Dhoni placed a short fine leg Sreeshanth for a glory.

The MCG start for Team India against Pakistan is a cracker of an opener. The mind games have already begun. The roar of 150,000 fans can cause an earth quake and the team winning will set the measure on Richer(not a typo) scale.

Does it even matter to say underdog and favourites in T20 World Cup when the format is so intense and change in tides is possible till the last ball?

The unpredictable in T20 is, no team can be written off before the start of the tourney unlike ODI World Cup where experience matters.

The furore of World Cup cricket is coming up. Which Maharaj can hold the cup tight down under?
