Sound like a Hollywood movie title? I don’t have it in me to write a movie script. If you have read my scribbles, you know the stuff I write about. Here is another one.
India set the tone on Day 2 and “Walk the talk” on Day 4. Congratulations!
Touring teams focus on the narrative of slow wickets when they play in Indian subcontinent and little they worry about missing resources in their arsenal. England team and English pundits took a dig at the pitch and one literally dig his backyard to back it. Unless a team take slow wickets seriously and prepare, they can’t crack it by any means.
New Zealand played with a good intent with their team selection and one bowler Ajaz Patel made their defeat feel so proud.
Three bowlers Jim Laker, Anil Kumble and Ajaz Patel have one thing in common other than ten wickets haul in an innings. Do you know what? They were FAST bowler then and FAMOUS spin bowler now. Jim Laker bowled fast off break during his early career. Anil and Ajaz started as a medium pace bowlers. So, now you know how to take ten wickets. May be Jimmy and Broad can take a shot at spin bowling (pun intended)
Player of the series Ashwin has become go get bowler. Only thing out of his control is to get himself in playing XI. He is like Rajnikant, very popular on screen (match days) and off screen (off days). The rate of legendary is growing day by day.
Someone who is synonymous to fast and sonic tear, Usain Bolt wants to start a career in Cricket. My two cents of advise, please become a spin bowler to get a place in IPL which he want to. For fielding, take a position in deep Mid on and aim to take a catch in fine leg (probably less than 10 secs run is needed)
Big find this test series: Shreyas, Mayank and Axar. Ajaz for NZ.
India has won many overseas series and a threat further under Virat’s captaincy. Can any touring team win a test series in India?
