MSD’s 2011 WC final - move to go up the order…Ben Stokes’s Headingley lonely Lion encounter…Pant’s Gabba grit…Shane Warne’s never lose attitude…Kapil Dev’s daring cameos…All these events are triggered by one factor, the courage. Courage is in everyone in some form but to show courage in an adverse situation backed up by right thoughts and skill drafts a historical moment. Courage and being bold portrays an attitude that defy the challenge from the opponent eventually they give up. I was a terrible cricket player but I was courageous to take some decisions while organising tourney (my two cents) 😀
The theme of RCB is bold. The success that RCB is reaping in 2022 edition of IPL is not a luck factor but being bold for many years in their decision making, approach and execution. The true success is when someone or a team bounce back from their defeats. CSK has done that in the past (Thirumbi vanthutomnnu sollu translates to We are back punch dialogu)
The theme set the tune for a bold beats. The beats came from the willow of Rajat Patidar. This affirms how well the theme “Bold” is inspiring within the dressing room. When the picture of tongue out by the big trios after qualifying became an unfortunate reality(tongue out) with their batting in the eliminator, the bold themed baton was picked up by Rajat to influence a success. DK’s physical and mental presence even more inspired Rajat to massacre 27 runs of an extremely talented spin bowler. Take a bow DK.
The quote “One man’s loss is another man’s gain” here reflects the poor selection of one team to leave out Faf, Hazlewood and DK(potential) is a win for RCB. This defines the boldness of decision making from RCB right from the mega auction.
Virat’s energy and encouragement in the dug out can even make Sanjay Bangar to be bold to bat if coach are allowed to play. On a lighter side, probably an optional rule should state that a coach can bat if a team lose four wickets in the first power play (One way for a coach to be fit…Sanjay Bangar is ever fit)
Whatever happens beyond the eliminator, “Eesaala RCB’s Bold factor literally bowled other teams”.
Go on RCB…Be bold to finish off in style.
PS: If RCB win IPL 2022 edition, how would Virat reflect?
